We stand behind the superior craftsmanship and material integrity of our Canadian Luxury Gifts. This warranty outlines the terms under which your purchase is protected, and the conditions required for eligibility.
1. Scope of Warranty Coverage
1.1 Manufacturing Defects at Delivery
We provide 100% warranty coverage for any item delivered in a damaged or defective condition. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Torn seams or lining upon unboxing
- Bald spots or visible matting not consistent with the natural variation of fur
- Damaged closures, fasteners, or labels
- Packaging-induced compression damage to fur pile (if persistent after rest period)
In these cases, the item will be repaired, replaced, refunded, or exchanged for store credit at our discretion and at no cost to the customer.
2. Warranty Period by Product
- Blankets & Capes: Covered for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Teddy Bears: Covered for a period of 10 years, due to their legacy nature and intended generational use.
During this time, eligible defects in workmanship or material failure will be addressed as outlined in Section 5.
3. Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from the following:
- Environmental Exposure: Discoloration, hardening, or matting due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, high humidity, or improper temperature storage.
- Misuse or Mishandling: Including tearing, soiling, or crushing due to improper folding, excessive pulling, or mechanical stress.
- Chemical Damage: Use of alcohol-based fragrances, household cleaners, or solvents in contact with the fur or lining.
- Unauthorized Modification: Tailoring, dyeing, or altering the product by non-certified furriers.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Including light shedding, compression of fur in high-contact areas (collars, sleeves), or gradual texture changes over time.
Example (Covered): A seam unravels along the shoulder of a cape within 2 months of purchase, despite normal wear.
Example (Not Covered): The same cape develops matting around the neckline after frequent perfume application.
4. Customer Obligations
To maintain warranty eligibility, the customer must:

7. Legal Rights & Limitations of Liability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not entitle the customer to damages beyond the value of the item. Consequential or incidental damages, including emotional distress, are expressly excluded.
In accordance with Canadian consumer protection laws, this limited warranty does not override or restrict statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any equivalent provincial legislation. Consumers may be entitled to remedies beyond this policy in case of goods unfit for purpose, not as described, or of unacceptable quality.
8. Natural Material Disclosure & Care Recommendations
- Fur is a natural material, and variations in texture, color gradation, and pattern are normal and celebrated in our designs. These are not considered defects.
- To extend product life, we strongly recommend annual professional fur cleaning and climate-controlled storage, especially during off-season months.
